This mail is regarding the Persecutions on Christians in Orissa, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Swami Lakshmanananda Saraswathi and four others were killed by some unknown assailants at Jalespata ashram in Kandhamal district of Orissa (India)on 23rd of August. Many of the VHP leaders are thinking Christians have killed them, 50 churches are destroyed, 27 people are burnt alive, hundreds of houses were burnt, this situation is continuing till today.
The situations is so worse that a pastor was tied to the chair and was burnt, two of the pastors are directly thrown in the fire, thousands of Christians had fled their homes, while many were hiding in forests, even there 19 dead bodies were found at different places in the forest.
In many places VHP leaders are forcibly converting Christians to Hindus. Below are the prayer requests, kindly spare at least few minutes in prayer Believers should be firm in faith and keep there faith at any cost as the persecution is severe.
Condolence to the family members, pray that God should strengthen them in every problem. Public should know the correct person behind the killing as they are blaming Christians for this matter.
Many of the innocent youngsters who are burning churches and pastors unknowingly, pray that God should directly speak to them either through dreams or visions, let there conscious tell them.
Pray for basic needs (food, shelter) of believers, for there financial support as they lost everything and are empty handed now.
Let us spend a few minutes in prayer everyday for the martyrs and the missionaries, for when we pray in one accord, God would hear us and answer our prayers and deliver these people.
